Jash Engineering Ltd is engaged in a business of manufacturing varied products for use in Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations and Treatment plants, Water transmission lines, Storm water pumping stations and Desalination. The company is headquartered in Indore, India and it has five well integrated state of art manufacturing facilities 1 in USA and 4 in India. 

The company exports its products to more than 45 countries and it has its global presence with bases in India, USA, Austria and Hong Kong. Some of their clients and consultants include NTPC, SAIL, BHEL, ADANI, TCS and SAPIENT.

As of 1st May 2024 the company had an order book worth Rs 816 crores, out of which domestic orders from India include Rs 265 crores and outside India stood at Rs 551 crores.

In the Financial year 2023, Jash Engineering Limited saw an increase in revenue by 9.36% to 401.99 crores as compared to 367.56 crores in FY 22. Analyzing three years, encompassing FY 2021 to FY 2023, the company displayed a good compound annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 13.12% in revenue. 

The company in FY 23 also increased its net profit margin by 60.65% to 51.7 crores as opposed to 32.18 crores in FY 22. 

This increase in revenue and net profit happened because of improved profitability at their US subsidiary Rodney Hunt and addition of waterfront’s revenue stream from the acquisition. It also benefited the operating leverages as higher revenue gets absorbed by existing overheads.

In FY 23, Jash Limited maintained favorable financial metrics with a Return on Equity (ROE) of 24.31% and a Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of 22.16%

Future Plans Of Jash Engineering

Jash Engineering Ltd has planned to set up a new manufacturing facility in Glasgow, UK. They have also shipped their machinery from India to the UK which is said to be installed by May 31, 2024. With this manufacturing facility, they expand their manufacturing capacity and footprint in the UK market.

The company plans to set up a new restaurant facility within their campus, to be run on a lease model. The lease rent received will be used for employee engagement activities. By doing this Jash Ltd aims to provide a space for employees to relax and host company guests.

They also plan to construct another new plant in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) by next year, to increase their capacity to cater to growing export orders.  

Jash Engineering entered the Vietnam market and bagged an order of 1 million dollars. The company plans to aggressively enter into more markets like Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, and Cambodia by this year. 

Jash Ltd also aims to develop and launch 2-3 new products every year. By doing this they focus on expanding the invent product line for water reuse/ reclamation in India. 

The company with consistent capacity expansions through new plants aims to double its revenue to Rs 1000 crores by FY 2028 from the current Rs 522 crores.
